I can not think of anything that doesn’t go well with basil pesto. Put it on pasta, chicken, fish, vegetables, pizza and more. So, if you excess basil, here is something good to make.
If you aren’t in the mood for pesto tonight, then pop it in the freezer to use later. It can be kept frozen for 2-3 months. Freezing it in ice cube trays makes it a nice way to be able to only thaw the amount that you need for a recipe.
